Rang wanting to speak to a director. Have had phonecalls from this guy before, so told him I was a director. He is trying to sell credit solutions for supplier and HMRC payments. It s a sales call, totally unsolicited and incredibly rude if he can t be put through to a director. His company is CFS Birmingham, I recommend not talking to him!
We get calls every day from this company, whoever they are, asking to speak to a Mr Michael Johnson. We tell them every time that nobody with that name lives here and to stop calling. To no avail. Sounds like they are calling from abroad so registering with the telephone preference service doesn t work in this case.
Fraud Received a text from this number purporting to be from Vodafone who were having having difficulties collecting my monthly bill amount The link provided in the SMS was flagged by my browser as a potential Phishing web site. So used the "Who Called me website" to look up the number which showed the mumber was localised to the Russian Federation.
Had my family name, in a nice clear English voice asked about my cover for a washing machine I never had.. Sounds like a phishing call? Looks like its been routed through Central Bohemian Region, Czechia.
