They always hang up and it is incredibly disruptive especially if we are on call.

Be Online? Trying to reduce phone bills. I held then on the phone pretending to find the model number of my telephone, he called me an idiot. I was so upset by this! I will vote for any political party who once and for all makes this type of calling illegal. In the day and age of the Internet I m sure if we want a product or service we all have the ability to find it ourselves.
if Virgin, my mobile is not on their network, and they do not have it, how are they getting it

Fraud Claiming to say that my National Insurance number has been compromised with a quite ropey sounding automated message, which surprise surprise it asks you to press 1 to speak to someone and no doubt hand over your details. Using different mobile numbers from EE so likely using burner phones etc.
Missed call, nobidea who it is as I don't know anyone on Brighton and they don't leave a message?!
Pretending to be Amex. Asking me to go through security with them.

I received a call from this number this morning. The caller had my name. When I asked who was calling, the man stated that it was Direct Claims Group regarding the minor accident I'd had. I replied that 'You must mean the minor accident that I haven't had!' and told him to get off the line. When I checked Companies House records, there were two companies called 'Direct Claims Group'. One was dissolved in 2018 and the other in 2019. So the call was definitely annoying and probably suspicious.
