An automated voice claiming HMRC is after me for fraud and unless I press a number to be connected, I will be arrested. Oh for goodness sake.... SCAM

the caller asked if I remebered making a PPI claim - I said Yes, he then said so you do remember - I replied yes and he put the phone down! Obviously not the right answer!!!

Also called my husband s mobile. Both times they said they were calling about an accident we ve had in the last 3 years but neither of us have. They have also called about ppi in the past. Have told them to remove ny number from their database but i doubt they will.
This is from a company called Motor Investigations. They have also called me from other numbers in Reading etc.

They said my name was on a list of people owed ppi, and wanted my address so that they could send paperwork, but when I asked them 3 times what they thought my name was, they didn t say - just kept blustering, so I put phone down. Definitely phishing if you ask me.
