Title: Alexa can now answer all Covid-19 related questions
description: Amazon Alexa can now answer most questions related to Covid-19 on smartphones and Amazon Echo smart speakers.
We learned that Alexa will be able to provide information about testing and vaccination centers, as well as vaccination availability, COVID-19 hotline numbers, details on helping to fight COVID-19 and much more.
Recall that Amazon began updating its smart assistant with information related to Covid-19 in 2020. We've tested some Echo speakers over the past year and found them very useful in resolving Covid-19 related queries.
Alexa-enabled smart devices can now help you find the closest COVID-19 test center, along with travel distance, by pairing Amazon with maps.
Alexa can also help identify the closest COVID-19 vaccination centers where vaccines are available. As on Amazon, Alexa recognizes your location based on device registration and provides a list of all immunization centers in your area.
Alexa can help you locate immunization centers near other PIN codes. You must enable the Alexa skill "Vaccine Info" on your Alexa compatible smart device. You will need to enter your PIN code as well as your age category to get this information. Importantly, Alexa can also set a reminder in case a vaccine is unavailable. By simply saying "Alexa, open vaccine information" you can check if a vaccine is available the next day.
It's worth noting that Alexa can now provide the latest information on COVID vaccination completion rates.
How to do it ? To find out how many people have been vaccinated so far, just ask, "Alexa, how many people have been vaccinated?"
