Title: MediaTek released a new processor to the market
description: MediaTek is constantly expanding its portfolio. The Kompanio 1380 processor for ultralight Chromebooks appeared on the market some time ago. This excellent processor will be used for light computing devices. The price of this processor is very high at the moment. Will there be attractive discounts for this device one day? This is not known yet. What is known about this processor? We learned that the MediaTek Kompanio 1380 (MT8195) processor is based on the TSMC 6nm architecture and provides excellent performance without draining the battery. The processor has four high-performance Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 3.0 GHz and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz, which makes it an eight-core processor.
It is worth adding that at a refresh rate of 30 Hz or 60 Hz, the processor can power up to two 4K monitors.
What's in the kit? Included is a multi-core AI MediaTek APU 3.0 processor. Unfortunately, the processor lacks 5G connectivity, but it supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E for fast and consistent connections, so ultimately there is nothing to complain about.
MediaTek Kompanio 1380 6nm provides smooth cloud gaming opportunities with better AI elements.
