Flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 10 smartphones have been officially presented. In the tenth generation of the Samsung series decided on two models with different sizes of Dynamic AMOLED screens and top equipment. Get to know the specifications and prices of the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+.
The long-awaited premiere of the Galaxy Note 10 series has become a reality. The flagship Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ have arrived on the market, which Samsung has been refining over the past few months.
The tenth generation of the business series brought not only diversity in the form of two smartphones with different diagonal lengths, but above all changes in appearance and new technologies. It's time to know all the details of the Galaxy Note 10 line.
Design of the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+
The Galaxy Note 10 series ends the era of symmetrical displays with narrow frames and no indentation to impetus with changes aimed at distinguishing flagship from the crowd and the best possible use of space. As a result, Note 10 smartphones differ from Galaxy Note 9 in almost every aspect - starting with the shape of the display and ending with the arrangement and number of cameras on the back panel.
Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ received Dynamic AMOLED displays with a centered hole, built-in and ultrasonic biometric reader, support for HDR10 + content, Full HD + / QHD + resolution and extremely narrow frames around each page, which in Samsung's marketing message is called the "endless screen in an extremely slim form. "
The differences between the version with plus and without plus are in the diagonal length - the smaller variant received a 6.3-inch screen, while the larger one has a 6.8-inch display. In both cases, the aspect ratio is 19: 9, so flagships are quite wide devices. Their one-handed operation will be difficult, but we have an S Pen stylus after efficient phone control.
The flagship elegance is emphasized by the slightly bent edges of the display and the bevelled lower and upper parts of the housing. The Galaxy Note series has always been characterized by slightly angular cases, while in its tenth installment it is extremely visible.

The back panel has been redesigned to display the color variants created by the designers as much as possible. From now on the camera frame is arranged vertically and the supporting sensors are placed on the side. The whole, unfortunately, lost its originality, because the back panels of most phones in the world look similar.
The casing in both versions of the Galaxy Note 10 is waterproof and dustproof, which confirms compliance with the IP68 standard. The back panel of smartphones was made of glass, while the side frame was made of hard metal. As for the solidity of the performance, there can be no objections, as well as for the proper protection of the screen, covered with Gorilla Glass.

Processors and memory
Galaxy Note phones have always belonged to the business class, which requires the highest efficiency during multi-tasking work and reliability under load. Due to the growing expectations of customers, due to the New York premiere, Samsung created the Exynos 9825 processor, an eight-core unit made in modern EUV 7 nm lithography.
The chipset has higher energy efficiency and better performance with reduced power consumption, which is ensured by the following core configuration: two super-large M4 clocked at 2.73 GHz, two powerful Cortex-A75 with increased clock frequency and four energy-saving Cortex-A55. The Mali-G76 MP12 system is responsible for the graphic experience.
It is worth knowing that in Europe both versions of Note 10 are powered by Samsung's original processor, while American copies work with the powerful Snapdragon 855. The cheaper flagship is available in the memory version 8/256 GB, and the more expensive version can be bought in versions 12/256 and 12/512 GB.

In this segment, Samsung has not forgotten about innovations, which is why the internal memory is compatible with the fast UFS 3.0 standard, and the RAM memory bones are in the LPDDR4X format. In practice, this means thunderous speed in accessing data and faster work with applications.
The Korean brand, however, failed to eliminate all the mistakes, so for incomprehensible reasons the standard version of the Galaxy Note 10 does not have a memory card slot. In the more expensive version with a plus, the tray reads microSD cards up to 1 TB.
We discussed the appearance and technicalities, so it's time to move on to real news. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 models will receive modernized cameras, the number of which has increased from two to three or even four. Meshes have the following configuration:
main unit 12 MP, variable aperture f / 1.5-2.4, 1 / 2.55 ″ sensor, 1.4 µm pixels, Dual Pixel PDAF, OIS,
16 MP wide angle camera, 123 degree angle, f / 2.2 aperture, 1.0 µm pixels,
12 MP telephoto lens, f / 2.1 aperture, 1.0 µm pixels, AF, OIS, twice optical zoom,
DepthVision VGA camera (only on Note 10+).
On the front there was a 10 MP camera with f / 2.2 aperture and autofocus. Flagship's main optical facilities are supported by software in the form of night mode, Live Focus function, Super Steady mode, automatic HDR, video with bokeh effect, scene detection and many other technologies.
One of them is creating animations using the DepthVision camera - by scanning a mascot or other object, we can set it in motion. It's an interesting "novelty", but the competition had it much faster, namely Huawei showed a similar function last year.
Galaxy Note 10+ PLUS
S Pen stylus and batteries
An inseparable component of every Galaxy Note smartphone could not remain unnoticed - from now on, the S Pen stylus supports Air Gestures gestures, thanks to which we can communicate with the smartphone screen without touching it. However, if we decide to get in touch and write by matrix, the stylus will recognize up to 4096 pressure levels.
Writing on the Note 10 screen is associated with an interesting novelty, because Samsung has implemented the transformation of handwriting into digital text, thus making it easier to create notes.
The Stylus supports Bluetooth connectivity and is waterproof, and the built-in button can be used as a camera shutter and a switch to change lenses, for example from main to wide. Stylus naturally got its own place inside the smartphone housing.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10+
In the energy section, Samsung has worked primarily on charging speed, which is significantly higher even than the Galaxy S10 series. In the more expensive flagship, the battery capacity was also increased, but to keep the balance in nature, the battery size of the cheaper version was reduced:
Note 10 offers a 3500 mAh cell with fast 25W wired and 12W wireless charging,
Note 10+ has a 4300 mAh battery with a fast 45W wired and 20W wireless charging.
It is worth noting the Huawei's super fast and anticipatory 45W charging in Note 10+, although with so many technologies and such a large display it will be difficult to maintain a reasonable cycle time. Both flagships support wireless reverse charging, a feature presented to the Galaxy S10 in February.
In this section the most severe will be the absence of the headphone connector, because Samsung apparently decided to persuade us to buy wireless headphones. Flagship communication facilities include: Dual Nano SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, USB type C 3.1, NFC, WiFi 6 (2.4 + 5 GHz), GPS from Galileo, AKG stereo speakers and support for Dolby Atmos.
Among the innovations worth mentioning is situation-specific sound recording, i.e. intelligent sound recording during filming. If we decide to bring the frame closer, e.g. zooming on a cooking chef, three microphones will focus on the dominant sound in the approximate stage.
Prices of the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ models
We've reached the most contentious issues, i.e. the prices of Galaxy Note 10 smartphones. Taking into account innovations, a variety of technologies, new products in cameras and refined screens, Samsung has priced its new flagships as follows:
Galaxy Note 10 version 8/256 GB
Galaxy Note 10+ version 12/256 GB
Galaxy Note 10+ version 12/512 GB
Galaxy Note 10 is available in Aura Glow, Aura Pink and Aura Black, and Note 10+ in Aura Glow, Aura White, and Aura Black. Presale of flagships has just started in Poland, while smartphone geeks will have to wait until August 23 for regular sales.
It is worth remembering that the purchase of the Galaxy Note 10/10 + involves the Samsung Odkup action, in which you can get a refund of up to PLN 400 for putting your current smartphone.
