Some Asian man called asking for my adult daughter who left home years ago. When I asked what it was about he got shirty and said what's it got to do with me! I said I was her mother. He then said, she left to marry then. I said no and he was very rude and said why did she leave home then?? As if it was not the done thing for an adult daughter to leave home unless it was to marry!! This is England in 2016 and women are free to make their own life choices!! What a rude condescending person
