I've just answered a call from this number and caller said they were from the Protection Society or something similar - and then went on to say "I don't know if you are aware that there have been 100,000 thousand cases of infection and three and a half thousand fatalities worldwide - to which I replied - you're kidding - there have been over 100,000 thousand fatalities worldwide already - at which point the caller hung up - I believe this is some sort of scam starting

Tried to claim I had an outstanding vehicle tax refund from an overpayment, followed by a request to visit a "secure" link. I do not own a vehicle regarding a tax payment and when I tried to reply about the matter it failed. Usually (if it is an official company) it displays the company's name, but this was just some random number's message acting as though I knew exactly what the subject was about.
