Title: Motorola MH7020 Mesh Wi-Fi
Description: Most of the households we know have traditional Wi-Fi configurations consisting of a router offered by an ISP. These conventional routers are easy to set up, but for the most part perform well in less demanding home applications with less coverage and limited smart devices.
If you have a large house with many rooms and floors and a lot of intelligent devices that support IoT, you may have a serious problem.
How to solve this problem ?
Decentralized network solution provides better coverage area, scalability, better network security among various other useful functions.
We found out that Motorola sent the MH7020 tri-band router for testing.
It turns out that you don't need to be tech-savvy to configure the MH7020. The one-piece mesh router has a plug-and-play setup process and relies heavily on the accompanying smartphone app to achieve smart functions. The app even guides you to configure your device in simple steps. All you need to do is connect the MH7020 to your existing Wi-Fi router using the included LAN cable.
What's next ?
Once the Motorola logo on the front turns solid green, you can begin steps in the motosync app to quickly set up your router. If you have purchased satellites, you can add them during the setup process for better and wider connectivity coverage. The head unit has an SSID and password (which can be changed later in the app) that can be used to access the network. If you have additional satellites, the same SSID and password will work throughout the network.
What happens after setup is complete?
After the configuration process is complete, the main unit will appear "Online".
