Female caller, delay before she came on the line, very strong Indian accent. Apparently calling on behalf of BT and someone in Mount View, California had access to my computer and could view everything I was viewing. Wanted me to go to google.co.uk and then enter my ip address. When I questioned her as to the reason for her call, being suspicious, she told me not to waste her time at which point I ended the call.

I play a game with these idiots. Answer and just ask them to hold on a minute, then put the phone to one side, go back in 30 seconds say "Hold on a Minute" and keep them waiting. keep doing this and See how long you can do it for. My record id 8 minutes.
Said they were working for the major UK mobile companies and were calling to review my mobile plan. I asked them if they had checked my number against the TPS Do Not Call database and they said there must have been a technical error! I have reported them to the Information Commissioner's Office
They rang me today for the second time in less than a week. Said that they understood from my records that I had worked in industry. Told them I had never worked in industry in my life and said that they were talking a load of old bo******. Said the same thing to them last week. It s very annoying as I am unemployed, every time my mobile rings I keep thinking someone is calling me in relation to a job I have applied for. I get very angry when it turns out to be a call from a scam merchant.

Clearly this is an untrustworthy caller who is either after my money and/or dishonest. If they were bonafide they could leave a message on my answerphone - but of course they don t. I am registered wi

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive. I asked him what he d had for breakfast and if he d like to be my friend and go on holiday with me. He hung up. Don t call these people back if you get a missed call - but if you f
