Asian sounding gentleman called. He already knew my name, claimed to be from McLean Claims Service. Said he had a cheque from my bank for refunded bank charges and asked me to confirm my address. I told him I was not interested, thanks, and blocked and ended the call. Appears to be a scammer phishing for personal details.

I Received a call from this number twice today and when i was able to answer they introduced themselves as Consumer helpline, the lady on the call advised that i had overpaid for finance in 2011 and she wished to help me get this refunded however i have never taken anything out on finance. I asked to submit a subject access request under the Data Protection Act where she then passed me to her manager. over the last two weeks have had five calls from this number, No response when I answer, they called today but again no attempt to engage in conversation, Just heard noisy off...
Phone call didn't seem professional, ruckus and talking in the background. Told me I have went over my allowance which I did not.( I always check that) offered a better deal. No security questions asked but asked for my pin. Most likely a scam. Just block the number.
