Fraud Pretend to be from Visa Debit and someone was trying to buy goods for £900 by Amazon
"David" claimed to be from carphone warehouse. Offering new deal on my old iPhone. I don't have an iPhone or contract with carphone warehouse.
This number has changed owner. It was previously used by London Wedding Photographers, but is now owned by a legitimate software company.
I had a phone call from this number today (25/02/2022-17:17) (0161-520-1872 !!!) The person on the line asked for me by name. Which seem very odd to me. As this is a number that I did not know. And told me that he calling to ask if my home had any damaged from the recent bad weather we have had. When I then asked him on how he got my personal number. He then told me that he got it from my local council. At this point I told him that I did not need his services. The phone line was poor in sound, therefore

Rings once then stops block this one and they use another one. Traced it to a window company won't be buying off these cowboys

This number has been calling most days since the last week of October. Unfortunately, I try and avoid answering unknown numbers, so I have no idea who or what is calling.

appears to be a phishing scam, its a recorded message about credit card suspicious use with a link to follow, i didnt follow the link but did check my credit cards and no such transactions ever happened.
