Had a call from a Wayne (over friendly in my opinion) about 4 items purchased prior to Christmas and asking if I d had to return any of the said items, then went on to talk about monthly payments and how I m now in control of what and when I pay. I told him two of the items had been paid for outright. All this information would be on my account, right?The call doesn t sit right with me so will be contacting the company about this call.
Just got a call from this 01889 878244 number, didn t answer and called back and it said GOODBYE! Very annoying! These are dodgy as they can get your number and tap in and run up a massive bill, and I m registers with the TELEPHONE PREFERENCE SERVICE, this shouldn t be happening!! Told me he had detected my wireless connection was slow and they had been monitoring it for two weeks on the DNS server. He said my computer had a virus and needed me to connect to the internet so he could fix it. I told him I was an IT manager and he was talking nonsense and to go forth and multiply. He rang back and replied likewise and called me derogatory names. Don t be fooled by callers from this number telling you your computer has a virus. Hang up!!!

SCAM This number told me by text message that a new device had attempted to make a withdrawal from my Halifax bank account. It gave a link to a website called deregister-payealert. I don't have a Halifax account and the Halifax or infact any bank wouldn't send a text like that. It's a scam beware of this number.

Had another call today on my landline didnt answer, theyve rung my mob number despite it being new & only having been given to few people.Its now blocked with all other ppi nuisance numbers. Its harrassment as far as Im concerned.
I think this is to do with PPI. I called the number back then googled their name, the website took me straight to a page on PPI.
