They call and ask you for a one time payment to support a magazine to go into schools regarding bullying. ONCE. ONE TIME ONLY. You do not sign a contract, you do not enter into an agreement. They then persistently call you and ask you for more money as apparently you have entered into a contract. Recognise a Scam: Unsolicited Call They associate themselves with ‘a good cause’ It's a limited offer . Claimed there was a tax fraud case against me and asked to press "1".
I answered the call, just silence on the line.
SCAM Claims to be from BT openreach, which I don't use.
Just called my landline. Male indian type accent - Slow speaker, used some strange (not common english) phrases, poor to understand what he was talking about. Something to do with BT landline costs. Talking about half price (or free) for next few months. He knew my postcode and clearly my landline number. I hung up at that point. I suspect a scam of some sort - but did not want to invest further time on it. A nuisance call.
When I answer the calls from this number no one talk to me
