I think they last called me around 2 years ago and are always very respectful. In a roundabout way, they are trying to sell a service, but at no point pressured me into buying anything. Calls almost everyday - I find this harrasing and class it as cold calling. Not a number I know nor can I identify the caller. Now blocked it on my phone so it doesnt directly annoy me!

After doing an online insurance comparison on go compare, they call 2 or 3 time in quick succession until you answer. They are just following up your quotation, but if I do a comparison on line, it s because I don t want the hassle of talking to people like this on the phone. Ironically, they were the cheapest quote but it did put me off a little. I ve still got 2 days to decide and will probably go with them so they don t really need to be doing these "follow up" calls.

Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.

Some mug about accident I hadn't had, really rude and poorly spoken

saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.

This number is for C.A.R.S or Creditlink Account Recovery Solutions. They are a genuine debt collection agency so I would suggest speaking to them if they are trying to contact you.
