To anyone on this string, Lackson Steer is a scam a couple of things to point out: 1. They are not a registered solicitor - search for them on: http://www.sra.org.uk/consumers/...

no idea who this was as I was out when they rang, but one other person has searched for this number in past 3 days so I am assuming it s one of those unsolicited pest callers

Answered call and could hear call centre noises in background but no-one spoke. Eventually call was ended. no idea who it was as search on number does not bring up any results

Call-back with a pin to confirm my online identity - all part of the login process.

Recorded message apologising that no one could answer. But they rang me! Message said I could return call to be removed from their list.

DO NOT EVER Press the Number One button which is what the recorded voice asks you to do. By this fact alone you can tell its a SCAM and the people/company behind it MUST be of a criminal element.

CHATTERIS

Automated voice. Claimed to be from her majesty s revenue and customs. Cut the call off before it went any further.

Search against this number after someone called asking to speak to two directors saying it was "an urgent financial matter". Someone else from their office - company name Greenfields - earlier and spoke to our accounts manager and was told they could assist in financial matters. Basically, they prey on companies who are having financial issues promising to help. This is the third call from this company today. Perhaps the right hand should know what the left hand is doing!

Rang had very old name for me I said wasn't my name anymore and asked who they were, wouldn't tell me tunless I gave my name now, I refused they put phone down, rang ...

an automated american female voice stated that my IP address had been compromised , my internet would be disconnected in 24 hrs.If I wanted this fixed free of charge to press 1 to connect to a technician.Realising this was a scam I hung up ,checked with my internet provider who blocked the no on their network....
