Irritating marketing call at 7.30 pm on Friday.
Asked for me by name. Announced herself as Jane, from Heatland, The Boiler People". When i queried who "Heatland etc." were, she terminated the call with no explanation.
After doing an online insurance comparison on go compare, they call 2 or 3 time in quick succession until you answer. They are just following up your quotation, but if I do a comparison on line, it s because I don t want the hassle of talking to people like this on the phone. Ironically, they were the cheapest quote but it did put me off a little. I ve still got 2 days to decide and will probably go with them so they don t really need to be doing these "follow up" calls.

We had 7 calls in one day from this number. They first asked for confirmation of address then started asking about direct debit and bank details at which point we hung up and didn t answer further calls.

I am pretty sure that is not correct as I have never had any insurance other than makers warranty on any white goods. Anyway, they said they would send through those documents.
