These cold callers just don’t get it, do they? I know many businesses who became very successful without having to make a single cold call. How did they do it? They built a good website and then spent the time and money on getting that website to the top of search results, so when people typed in a search for their product or service, their website appeared at the top or near the top of the search results. The very fact these cold callers are clearly too incompetent to do this (hence they need to cold call)

Asian caller claiming to be from the carphone warehouse company (yeah right), about an exciting offer and he could give me the most up-to-date phone. I told him that I don't use mobile phones and just stayed quiet, he hung up about 2 minutes later. What an idiot, the muppet was talking to me on a mobile phone. Now blocked ????

Fraud - recorded message pretending to be HMRC and saying there was tax fraud under my name and that if I didn't press 1 immediately then I would be arrested shortly!

SPAM received an unsolicited phone call at 8.58 on a Saturday morning, from what sounded like an Indian call centre. The caller claimed she was contacting me on behalf of Legal & General with regards to my washing machine. I explained I was on the TPS & clearly stated I wanted my phone number removed from their database & not called again. Fraud - Says I placed an order from Amazon for an Iphone 7 for £399 and if I did not place the order then I should press 1. I hung up. I did not place an order and can only imagine they are looking for bank details.

This is a scam setup , they are using information stolen from Dell breach recently to get you to update "security systems" on your laptop or PC. DONT FALL FOR IT!! This is the number I was given to phone back , they call them selves "Media Consulting" or some BS. Number I was phoned from is 01236 985489

SCAM Another call that was supposed to be an International number!! Saying that an unauthorised payment had been made on my card?? Not stating which card!! Even left the message on my answer phone!!

SCAM claimed to be from BT who want to lower my phone bill due to the amount of calls I have received offering me a better price. Told them the only unsolicited call I had received was from her, and hung up.

SCAM - Claims to be from National Insurance saying that 'your NI number has been suspended due to criminal activity' (apparently numerous) I didn't listen to the rest and just blocked the number

SCAM! Called saying I have evaded tax and there is an arrest warrant. Pressing 1 led me to the hold music and a robot which most scammers use which say your call is very important to us. This is definitely not how you would be contacted for tax fraud. You would be arrested already.
