Stated that insulation installed under previous 'Green Scheme' needed checking for damp every 4 years and they would arrange to do it for Free!! Mildly irritating and worrying for the unworldly. Caller was working for a research consultancy on behalf of a newspaper or political party but wasn’t prepared to do which, or how my opinions would be used or by whom. I declined.
SCAM text saying that Simon could not deliver parcel from the Post Office and could I fill in my details. I filled in a pile of crap and they only stopped me going further this time because they cannot count and apparently I am in London...news to me. The call came from Manchester yet again probably rerouted from a call centre abroad. I have blocked the number as always.

If you do answer the nuisance calls and it’s NOT an automated message, be polite to the agent, talk to him/her. Remember they are on commission, so waste their time. State you are interested in their SCAM products. Give them false info. If you can arrange a rep to visit, do it at a local café and don’t turn up. I think you get the idea. This is probably where lying would be acceptable even if it’s not in your nature.

Just had a call from a woman calling herself Megan and telling me she was calling from Credit Management. I straight away told the girl I was part of the TPS and could she please remove me from her call list. With that she started screaming at me to SHUT UP, repeatedly.
