I was cold called from this number. I only answered because it was a local landline number and I thought it was a friend calling. It wasn t, it was someone calling about my recent "car accident", which I have not had. I immediately rand off. Where are these people getting my number from?

SCAM = Automated message saying there is a tax fraud investigation against my name. You MUST press one... I hung up at this point. HMRC will never contact you by phone.

This is the 2nd phone call on my mobile in two days saying that my son may be in receipt of some money. When I asked who they was they repeated that they wanted to speak to my son as it was in his interest and it was confidential, dater protected and so on then and wanted his mobile number. I informed them that I was his mother and if their not prepared to give me information then I m not prepared to divulge information under the dater protection act. They hung up!
