I used to work for Stellar (temporary after redundancy). It was an awful job that paid minimum wage with no bonus. One thing I can say about them is they are genuine partners of BT which you can see at bt.com/partners. The agents that call you have all received training of a higher standard than BT agents as they wish to protect their contracts and we actually did genuinely want our customers to get a better deal. I phoned British Gas using the number on the last letter they sent me (not the number in the text message) and they said that they had not sent me a text asking me to call this number. They say they are looking in to it.
