Scam. They contact elderly people by telephone and visit the house and change the filter and charge £50. Filters don t need changing, they only need washed. SCAM / SPAM. Said they are calling from HMRC and i will be arrested if i dont press 1.
Go on line and contact the Information Commissioner s Office, ask for their leaflets package regarding unsolicited/silent/nuinance calls/harrassment, under the Private and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. Also, log all calls, time-number if shown-dates; also report to your phone provider and tell them to remove your number from all telemarketing data sources.
