SCAM. On 26.04.21 I received a text from +447585759635 claiming to be a HSBC Fraud Alert and that I had made a payment of £240 to Mr C Jones with a clickable link to confirm my details. I dont bank with HSBC, I never have! I didnt click on this link.

Guy asked for me by name, said he was calling from Aviva about a life insurance enquiry or something I apparently made. Knew one of my email addresses plus my previous home address (haven't lived there for over a year). I've never contacted Aviva (double checked my emails to make sure afterwards), don't have life insurance, told him I didn't know what he was talking about. He just apologised & said he'd take me off their list then hung up before I could ask any questions. No idea where he got my inf

Asked for my husband by his first name. I asked repeatedly for his company name but only said Pension company'. I hung up. Have blocked number. Obviously dodgy.

Also received a call and when I asked, when, where and what vehicle he started being cheeky. He did get cheek back although started mocking my Scottish accent.
Have been called by this number three days running. I don't answer unknown numbers, but they have not left any message as yet, so most likely a sales line.
