They kept calling me so I answered. They said they were from an Income Protection company, and that I was calling me because I had searched for the best Income Protection (which I did, but I didn't want them to call me)

Thought this was a scam call but recently changed my phone network to O2 so I spoke for a few seconds. When asked exactly who they were they hung up. Blocked the number.
I got a WhatsApp's message from this number, the person was pretending to be my son. The message said Hi mum this is my new number, my phone broke you can save it. I replyed but got suspicious because the reply to my message was not how my son would reply. I tried ringing the number 3 times but nobody answered. I rang my sons number and sure enough he hadn't changed his number at all. This scammer I have no doubt would have been asking me to transfer money into his account. BEWARE !!!!!
