01424899233 from a Mike Spencer said he was from Government UK advisory Dept 223 Regents Street London. Had my name address date of birth and wanted to know where I would bank a cheque that I would receive due to over charges made on my bank account. Gave me ref no. and some one is supposed to be ringing me back this afternoon. Well my thought is its another PPI scam. BEWARE !!

SCAM Warning asks you to enter bank card or account details and name. They text you and pretend you have missed a parcel (no information is given about the parcel.) then ask for postcode (any postcode you enter always comes up with same page about try to delivery today at 11:23.) the asks for personal data name address birth date and then ask for a small fee for redelivery and ask for bank card and bank account details.
Electronic woman’s voice called to say my internet had been compromised and asked me to press 1 for details of what to do. I hung up.
