Seeing the number on my phone list I look it up on the PC and see all the complaints so I immediately bar the call using the BT Call Guardian (on their latest phones). This means a lot of the scammers will leave their number and you can bar them and also let TPS know of annoying callers.
Told me I had committed tax fraud and there is a warrant out for my arrest, please press 1 for further info to avoid legal action. ????

SUPPOSEDLY AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICES SAYING SOMONE HAD TRIED TO ORDER AN ITEM OF £700 ON MY ACCOUNT. RUBBISH. CHECKED MY ACCOUNT. NOTHING THERE. DEFINITELY A SCAM. HAVE HAD SIMILAR CALLS BEFORE ON DIFFERENT MOBILE NUMBERS.
No idea who this is. They hung up after I answered!
