Got a call first from 01778 483797 at 11-20 sat 17/01/2015 Seemed to know my name even though ex directory and on Alex, Telephone Preference List. Couldn't quite catc...
Said my bt line was to be terminated. Foreign accent male.
Called twice regarding a "?1000 bonus to be paid by my pension provider" Pre-recorded voice message asks for "5" to be input to access further info. THIS IS A SCAM - POLICE ARE AWARE.

Text-to-voice automated call stating that they were BT Internet, there was very suspicious traffic via our IP address and that our access was about to be terminated. Directions to press "1" to "get it fixed before it's too late". I hung up the call and checked the number here and on other, similar sites.

Called me at 2pm. Car accident i was (not) involved in. Caller couldn t tell me my own name, appeared to be automated as I heard "that s what I thought, thank you" before hanging up which was out of context to my question.
