someone from this number called me a few minutes ago, and asked to speak to Mr J *****. I asked who was calling, he said "Matthew" I asked "what do you want him for", he replied that "its personal" (AT NO POINT DID I CONFIRM OR DENY MY I.D.. I then asked "if its personal, What is Mr J ***** s First Name". But guess what, He didn t know, and thats when i had fun and he hung up. EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A woman called me today from the Ministry of Justice and said that i was owed thousands of pounds from Barclays bank. She gave me this number to ring and was very forceful that i contact this number to claim my money. She also asked me to provide my bank details for a credit transfer. Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC
