TAXES / HMRC Apparently I’m about to be arrested for tax fraud! ????
Scam
had a call today from a man with an Indian accent claiming to be from UK Life and asking questions as to who the home owner was. I asked him to stop and not call my number again...

SCAM. The full number is 0049 3549 72863, which suggests it is from Germany, though the man on the phone had an Indian accent. He claimed to be from 'Sky's Technical Department' and he'd had a report that my internet was running slow. Which was strange, because I hadn't reported any such fault and my internet is working fine/ So I strongly suspected it wasn't a genuine call from Sky and hung up.
As the other person stated - Called to my mobile number - not answered and no message left
Unknown - neutral. Missed call and left no voicemail
Reckon they re from my mobile provider but then go on to ask if im pay monthly or pay as you go, clearly a scam......

SCAM Received a phishing text from this number, pretending to be my bank. I called Lloyds who confirmed it is a scam. Number now blocked.
Friendly number
Contacted me saying they now know how much I am due back from my PPI claim and to get in touch to find out..... checked out the number on here and blocked them. Thanks for the other comments.
