SSAFA are a long established and responsible organsisation supporting UK Military personnel and their families - I wouldn't expect this to be a nuisance call. It's not a cold call kind of charity.

Call from a telephone blocking service. He asked if I received nuisance calls. I said yes plenty but he didn t understand the irony and pressed on with his script. I asked where he was based. He said 70 Margaret Street London which is the HQ of the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) (Note that the caller was NOT from the TPS). I asked him the name of the nearest underground station at which point he terminated the call.
