Fraud SCAM Telephone call from 01376 567981 on Friday 23 June. Voice message claiming unusual use of bank account. Did not identify which bank or which account holder. Obviously attempt at fraud. Left phone line open until call terminated, then blocked telephone number.

Press 1 to speak to an operator Pressed 1 and call was answered by distinct asian male voice with "HMRC how may I help you...?" I replied - "You phoned me, what can I do for you?" and they hung up! SCAM Text from this number supposidly from HSBC Bank about a payment from my account. I don't have an HSBC account. BEWARE
Claimed to be calling from 3 mobile offering an upgrade but when I said I didn't have a contract with 3 they hung up.
A real person said she was calling from BT Openreach I said I didn't believe her. She then talked to someone else in an unfamiliar language. Then someone said Hello, I said Hello, this continued for a while before I said Goodbye. Newbie scammer?
