Got a call off this number claiming to be a company handling information about an accident I had in December. The caller told me the other driver had filed a successful claim for compensation for minor injuries sustained from his seatbelt (the accident happened at barely 1 mile an hour, so there were no such injuries), and that I, as the other driver, had a right to such compensation too. I asked the caller why I wasn t hering this information from my insurer and he said that my insurer wouldn t inform me a

Telemarketing. telling me I have insured appliances at my home address and they are up for renewal. Load of rubbish!
Foreign gentleman claimed he was from E-ON meter department. asking for supply number and end date on contract, etc, didn't ask for bank details but by the end of the call I was suspicious. E-ON confirmed that they had made no such call to me
