Automated call about £600 transaction abroad!
Automated voice call saying my internet connection will be dissconected in 4 hours due to the router being faulty and I should contact my service provider for a replacement. Asked me to press button 1, which i did not do of course. Suspect if i did it would route to a fake call center.

SCAM This number texted me today 14/10/2020 saying there was a problem with my payment and the asked me to contact an internet address.................I was suspicious so I rang my provider who confirmed it was a scam and just to delete it. The number 0800 862 0818 is genuine, but everyone should always consider if a number is spoofed - try to get them to tell you something about you that they know already. Eg if they ask for your email, tell them a fake one and see if they know it's fake. If they don't, they may not be genuine.

Keeps ringing, I don t answer, had a long 6 year dispute with a major high street bank,who incidentally were in the wrong and didn t take me to court but harassed me all the same, all associated debts are long since statue barred and they know this, just trying their luck and having none.
