SCAM Claimed to be calling from Department of Work & Pensions advising my National Insurance number had been suspended for fraudulent activities. Electronic voice message. Press 1 for more information. Didn’t press 1, DWP would call in person if they thought fraud was committed and can’t suspend National Insurance number regardless of fraud or not as needed for employment, insurance, Universal Credit and other benefits claims including local councils.
HMRC scam - 07709705599 nAsked what NI number they had and they hung up
Two calls from them, both claiming to be from O2 who are my mobile phone provider. Tried to switch me from my low user tariff to a ?12/ month tariff which is unsuitable for my needs. These people are scavenging for business and may or may nothave any legitimate connection to O2. Beware.
