This number called while I was out today. I rang it back later and got a message that it could not accept calls. My caller display indicated that it was an "international" number. Because it was clearly not from Liverpool, I set my call blocker against it. I note that it has subsequently rung again. My blocker rejected it.

Claimed to be from talk talk, he said his name was Danny, he said there are hundreds of errors on my computer, There arent any errors on my computer. Iam a computer programmer

Not genuine number but one that phone Companies sell to scammers all over the world, so they appear UK based. SCAM

Fraudsters pretending to be HMRC in recorded message. Says to press 1 to speak to an agent or an arrest warrant will be issued then they try to take your bank details

Picked up the phone and waited, then got what sounded like a recorded voice saying "Hello, how are you?" Ignored it and left the phone off the hook until it disconnected.

Asked if my Internet connection was up and tried to confirm I pay £10 a month for a PC service plan. I've never paid for one - I'm a computer engineer.

Called me saying they were The National Pension Service and the government is giving everyone a free pension review to make sure they are not being overcharged for pensions. Implied she was calling from the government, and started to ask for details. When i asked if she was calling from a government department she hung up and number is permanently engaged when I tried to call and complain. Block.
