These fools rang me and when I answered they waited and waited, then simply hung up. I suspect its a call centre with a rather naff bit of software dropping calls it handles. Isnt cold calling illegal now??

Called our TPS registered number, asking for a member of staff by name; then asked for a message to be left for them from Connor at Payzone . Call terminated when we asked them if they actually had any prior business dealings with us and they admitted that they do not.
Said was from BT and someone had been using my internet connection. As I am not with BT and have fibre to the home from a non BT source, I very impolitely told him to go forth and multiply.

Do NOT believe the number calling you. Google "Caller ID Spoofing" to find out what I m talking about. This is call centres based in India. They steal your numbers when you legitimately call REAL call-centres (Microsoft, Sky, BT etc). I m sure a Microsoft customer service rep has passed my details on. They are trying to SCAM YOU.
