When answered it was a recorded message saying they were from HMRC and I was under investigation for tax fraud. Good job I had heard this scam was about a few weeks back and hung up
automated call received stating arrest warrant issued by hmrc for non payment of taxes and to press 1 for further info. This has previously been reported as a scam and not how hmrc operate.
