SCAM Received an SMS message from this number claiming a new payee had been added to a bank account. The SMS message contains a link. Do not click on the link. Block the number then delete the SMS message.

Someone called Lydia from bright sparks or something like that. Car accident that I d supposedly had. Wanted to know when it was so asked her all the details, she hung up!

I don't know why these people waste their time calling, I never answer the phone any way unless I know the number.
Not necessarily a scam, but reports elsewhere say unsolicited telemarketing, usually from E.On when you ve told them you re moving to another supplier.
Automated message states they have been trying to contact me wrt my PPI claim and I should press 5 to connect. Doing so invariably switches the connection charge to the recipient. I am in process of sorting out a car accident claim, so was nearly duped thinking this was the claims department leaving a message ...
