Same here with the Outlook voicemail that looks like it was going to expect me to log in. Email was littered with assurances about the sender being trusted and the contents having been scanned by a virus checker. Was for an email address I once used (only) for a pension provider. The addresses must have been leaked.

Some guys called me asking if I was Mr. R. (I'm a woman btw). I said "no" so he said "forget the name then, your number was put as a first point of contact following a minor incident involving a car". When I explained I don't own a car, and have never in my 31 years been involved in any incidents, he just refused to believe me. Kept saying "it was just a minor" over and over again. This number (01613028217) called me just after six o’clock apparently telling me that there was nobody available to answer my call ( which I have never made), but giving me another number which would be able to deal with my ( non-existing) enquiry. The new number supplied (01618148666 ) doesn’t have many posts on this site yet so I presume that its one that’s newly in use.
