made squeaking noise when answered and then hung up = want you to call back on the premium number These people are gangsters trying to make money from you and don t care how much they disturb you or compromise personal safety (i.e. sometimes I now don t take calls from family if I think it s a scam number). Should be outlawed by parliament.

Fraud : pretended to be calling from BT internet. They hung up when I queried them . . . SCUM!
SCAM Telling me I had been in an accident. Nope, no accident
Scottish Power. Rang 21 times over 14 days on my home phone and also mobile. Very aggressive attitude, would not take a polite "no thanks".
