I am the first to comment but I notice I m the 176th person who has tried to find out of this is a dodgy scam/marketing call. I would say the chances are quite high that it is. Let your telephone do the work. If there is no voicemail left then there is no urgency to speak with them!

They are a telecoms company and I have an 0800 number with them. This number is to call from your mobile, although I know that 0800 s are also free now from mobiles. Therefore I doubt the above comment on Home Office is correct (or perhaps very old). A trustworthy company.
3 calls yesterday, answered each time after ignoring for well over a month. Asked to be removed from system and told i would be. 2 hours later, another call and the woman hung up on me when i told her this. 3rd call later that afternoon from a man from the same company, hung up on me before i could finish telling him I'd asked to be removed from the system. Similar number 2032874942 is already reported here with silent calls - probably this one is the same case, same call centre? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message.
