This number called me twice today. It is an unknown number to me, but is known to other users who have reported it. No messages left. I am sick of being targetted!

I have just joined the RAC and have noted 7 calls this week from this number! What say we all report them to the Information commissioner as breaching the Feedom of Information Act (Data Protection Act is section 40, subsection 1 http://www.ico.org.uk/ And not renew!

Telemarketing, very unfriendly, constant calling using different numbers after I have blocked the previous numbers. Claim to be a company called Beneficial. After being very clear about not wanting to be contacted by them and to take my number off my records they were very rude and said that they would not stop calling me in an aggressive tone.
I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! I am glad to let the world know that when you see this number it is not worth picking up. Just leave it & let it ring! I wonder how much their phone call expenses are? Flagged as scam on Samsung so did not pick up. Have a business phone so would not expect personal life insurance call. Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.
This was a recorded message telling me that a large sum had just been removed from my bank account. By this time I had blocked the call. I have no doubt that they would have gone on to ask me to do something that would have resulted in me being robbed. When are the useless impotent authorities going to crack down on these thieving scumbags?

Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.
