Chris said he was an 'energy adviser'. I asked he quickly tell me the purpose of his call and he cut me off.

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. They give you fictitious dates when you bought the warranty, and amounts to repay you. The foreign caller was very good u

It took a long time to get the person to speak. I heard a croak. no words
Recorde message claiming to be from HMRC. Threatened me with arrest for tax fraud unless I pressed 1 immediately. I ignored it and the call terminated automatically after a further 10 seconds.

Fraud/SCAM 08001417039 Automated call saying its Works & Pensions Department advising your national insurance number has been suspended Clearly a scam/attempt at fraud. If still not convinced then why was the call received by a Company Complete BS!!!
