just had a call from this number saying he was from HMRC and had an ?800 tax rebate - wanted my bank account details........

SCAM / SPAM - Beware this number will call you stating you have hacking on your PC and you need to remove it. I told him I work in IT and he quickly hung up on me. DO NOT follow any instructions he give you.
