Caller claimed to be ringing from Sky technical department warning me about various technical issues affecting my broadband connection. After directing me deep into my PC workings, I decided I'd had enough and challenged his authority. He then began to panic and insisted I had major technical problems when I haven't experienced any. I told him this and rang off. Have since checked number and found no connection with Sky.

This number keeps calling my direct dial number at work but when I answer nobody speaks and then they put the phone down. How would they even get my direct dial extension number? Unfortunately as it is a work phone I cannot block it and so it just keeps calling and I now ignore it.
