this was a call from Elite Direct in rainham Essex It was there UK Mail Order Service. They were not cold callers they phoned regaridng a order.

A robotic voice told me my NI number had been cancelled due to a number of illegal uses of it. I hung up after a short time

SPAM - Automated call just say "Goodbye" as soon as you pick up.
SCAM / SPAM Scam. Saying internet would be disconnected in 4 hours due to a failing router, and press 1 to speak to my provider. Utter nonsense.

SCAM Phone sim swop scam designed to by pass the 2 step verification system and gain access to passwords, banking etc. Looks like a Birmingham company actually based in Karachi. Bit of digging on Linkedin etc confirm this and that is it a cover for many businesses including call centres. Tells you all you need to know.
