I answered a call today on my mobile. All I initially understood from the clearly Indian person on the other end was my name. They then proceeded to ask about an accident I d allegedly had some time ago (not true!). When I asked them where they got the information from as it was unbelievably false, the person hung up. Number now added to my blocked list.
Scam! Do not answer. They use different 070 dialing numbers. Apparently they charge you 75p per minute you stay on the line giving you a load of nonsense about compensation you're due for an accident. They will more than likely know your name on some small details of your accident, if you've even been in one..

I'm getting 2-3 calls a day from numbers beginning with 07999338xxx. The last 3 digits are different every time. Silence when I answer then the call just cuts off.
