Claiming to be ascend finance Not sure as it all sounded convincing until right at the before the conversation was over the guy asked for my sort code and account number

Received call at home, registered on answerphone but no message left.
Private number
Had a call from this number. Came up on display as SCAM CALL so didn't answer. I merely deleted the number.
Telemarketing
Rang once and then stopped. Internet research indicates it is Argos Warranty as I recently took out insurance cover with them
Scam - automated call saying that it was a from amazon to make me aware of possible fraudulent activity on a card connected with my account and would I please key in financial details etc through them. Ended call and checked on my account and card myself - no problems.
