SCAM Recorded message saying they are from some national crime division and saying my NI number was suspended!! Immediately hung up.
Fed up of silent calls that then ring off, I rang them back. It is a call centre for company called Home Insurer. They have your number if you have looked for a quote on a comparison web site, which evidently sells on the details of potential customers. However, the girl who answered when I rang them back was quite personable and said she will remove our number from their system so we won t get called again. I ll simply have to believe her unless and until proved otherwise!
Yet another so-called urgent automated message from talk-talk urging me to speak to technician. Apparently my IP address was compromised and I will lose access within 24 hours!!!

This call left a voice message saying it was Officer Gray from HMRC in a strong American accent and to phone a number they left. Definitely a scam call

Agree it is vodafone in Harrogate and they call from a local number if you block their other numbers. Sneaky but true.
