Insurance cold caller hiding behind local phone number
Rang today stating a change in gender law has recently made changes to insurance premiums and you could therefore be entitled to a reduced premium. Don t think it s anything sinister but they basically know nothing about you and are phishing for info in the hope of selling you a policy. Thanks but no thanks!
SCAM didn’t really listen as soon as i realised it was an automated voice, started going on about a magistrate and bail conditions being set. Hung up and blocked this caller.

Hangs up immediately
Supposedly from Microsoft. There was a problem with my hardware/software. They wanted me to turn on my computer and talk them through what was on the screen. Obviously a scam, not sure if it was for money or data, but I continued talking to them without giving any details until I had found my school whistle and then blew it down the phone (loudly) at them. I work in a large infants school, I have a good pair of lungs :-)
